The Fireside Bowl

This feature-length documentary digs into the gritty history of The Fireside Bowl, an infamous all-ages venue in Chicago, to shed some light on how digital technology has affected physical music communities. Between 1994-2004, this bowling alley provided an outlet for thousands of bands to perform; meanwhile, mp3 technology paved the way for file-sharing and the iPod era, forever altering the way we interact, communicate, and learn about art.
